He was predeceased by: his parents, Mercury Oliver and Hazel Pauline Gemas; his wife Shirley Ann Gemas; his brother Terry Dale Gemas; his grandson Grayson Wayne Gemas; his in-laws, Stanley and Anna Roebuck; his brothers-in-law, Charles Booker, Bill Roebuck, Mike Roebuck and Andy Johnson; and his nephew Lex Gemas.
He is survived by: his sons, Kevin Gemas (Bonnie) of Naples, FL and Dr. Terry Gemas (Tracy) of Dallas, TX; his grandsons, Kyle Gemas (Megan) of Farmers Branch, TX, Brett Gemas (Samantha) of Greenville, SC, Brian Gemas of Seneca, SC and Jacob Gemas of Dallas, TX; his great grandchild Kaley Gemas of Famers Branch, TX.; his sisters-in-law, Patty Johnson of East Millsboro, PA, Arlene Sigwalt (Ray) of New Salem, PA and Sheri Austin of Cherino, TX; and his nieces and nephews, Jan Booker, Derek Sigwalt, Michael Roebuck and Cindy Roebuck. He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the Boy Scouts of America.
