She is survived by: her husband Gordon Wardius; her children, Janine Wardius (Aage), Karen Geiss (Pete), Don (Barbara) and Glenn (Claudia); her grandchildren, Megan (Tyler), Claire (Lucien), Natalie, Robbie, Molly, Joey, Katie Wardius, Zaldy and Ritz Geiss; her siblings, Charles Kleist (Charlene) and Connie Roth; her niece Kimberly Hausman (Michael); and her nephew Scott Kleist. She is also survived by cousins and beloved friends.
Sylvia suffered from Alzheimer's and was being cared for at Family Tree-Harrison House since October 2020.
