He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Vander Zanden and Marian Loehr (Lange); his parents-in-law, Carl Alf and Doris Klingbail (Edward); and his sisters-in-law, Joanne Vander Zanden and Nancy Oosterhous.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Alf; his daughter Connie Olson (Scott); his brothers, Howard Vander Zanden and Wayne Vander Zanden (Jackie); and his stepmother-in-law Jan Alf. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
