With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rita A. Lackas (Theresa, Wisconsin), born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 2, 2024 at the age of 85. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Rahmer and Irene Rahmer; her husband Eugene "Gene" Lackas; her daughter Debbie Weyer (Joe); her daughter-in-law Patti Lackas; her siblings, Jean Resop (Norman), Rose Schneider (Ottie), Donald Rahmer (Virginia), George Rahmer (Elsie) and John Rahmer; and her brothers-in-law, Jack Bera, Joe Kapellen and Joe Simon.
She is survived by: her children, Allan Lackas (Kim) of Brownsville, Dean Lackas of Theresa and Sandy Koenigs (JR) of Theresa; her grandchildren, Chris Lackas, Ben Lackas, Denise Bailey (Blair), Bryan Lackas, Trevor Koenigs (Sam), Amber Kilgas (Matt) and Chelsey Mastey (Joe); her great grandchildren, Oliver Kilgas, Alister Kilgas, Arthur Koenigs, Weston Mastey, Hailey Mastey, Mason Mastey and Adalynne Bailey; and her siblings, Carol Laudolff (Richard), Marge Bera, Doris Kapellen, Patricia Simon (Joe), Jim Rahmer (Marsha) and Joe Rahmer.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the St. Theresa Catholic Church (102 Church St, Theresa, WI 53091). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made out in memory of Rita to St. Theresa Catholic Church.
