He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edgar "Junior" Guelig and Marjorie Guelig (Walsh); his wife Dawn Paulus; his sister Kathy Guelig; his siblings-in-law, Jim Paulus (Deb), Pam Koll (Gene) and Jackie Jacak (Carey); his nieces and nephews, Jay Haag, Tim Haag (Barb), Becky Smith (Jason), Stephanie Cunningham (Aaron), Kevin Paulus (Gretchen), Katie Noel (Michael), Ryan Koll (Amber), Joshua Jacak (Sam), Jeremy Jacak (Kristin Vahl) and Kayla Jacak (McHale Dye); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Joseph Haag, Tyler Haag, Connor Paulus, Trevor Paulus, Jenna Paulus, Ava Cunningham, Hazen Noel and Mykah Noel; and his parent-in-law Shirley Paulus. He was also cherished by other relatives and many dear friends.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM at the Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home (N7199 N Crystal Lake Rd, Beaver Dam, WI 53916). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
