He is survived by: his parents, Carol Ryan (Pauly) and Jim Kowal; his wife Kelly Kowal (Abendschein); his daughters, Janie and Iris; his parents-in-law, Brian and Cindy Abendschein (Betthauser); his sister Christie (Jake Tanner); and his sister-in-law Cari (Wade Jessop). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
