He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Boettcher and Joan Boettcher (Schrier); his brother Richard; his stepfather Gordon Simonson; his niece Nicky Boettcher; his brother-in-law Bill Kneifl; and his nephew Andy Kneifl.
He is survived by: his children, Jeryd Waldera (Brandi Smith) and Janessa Waldera (Dakkota Jester); his grandchildren, Cooper, Zaihlynn, Riley, Daxton, Damon, Graysyn and Hunter; his nieces and nephews, Scott, Troy, Lisa, Kathy, Lori, Stacy and Shelly; his sisters, Judy Olson (Paul) of Taylor and Robin Sanders (J. R.) of Taylor; and his close friend Octavia Bue of Taylor.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Taylor Community Center. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
