We bid farewell to Gloria Curran of Taylor, Wisconsin, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 8, 2024 at the age of 81. Gloria touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Willard Newton and Fay Newton of Alma Center, WI; her parents-in-law, Roger and Vivian Curran; her daughter Vonnie Peterson; her grandson Jon Peterson; her sister Joan Jacobson; and her siblings-in-law, Pat Newton and Pete Noreen.
She is survived by: her husband John Curran; her children, Lori Olson (Don), Bruce Curran (Susan), Chris Curran (Mary) and Tim Curran (Abbi); her son-in-law Dale Peterson; her grandchildren, Danielle "DJ" Kuderer, Donnie Olson (Inez), Luke Peterson (Amy), Maya Peterson, Justin Curran (Farrah), Spencer Curran (Kasey), Rylee Curran, Dylan Curran (Sabrina), Carsen Curran, Zachary Curran (Ariel) and Grace Walsh-Brenizer (AJ); her friends, Eddie Bue (Mandy), Charlie Bue (Katie), Kyra and Tanner; her brother Rocky Newton; her friend Jill Noreen; and her brothers, Dan (Shirley Curran), Dave "Bear" (Myrna Curran) and Junior Jacobson. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, Gloria wished to have donations made to the Jackson County Historical Society or the Taylor Museum.
