Age 71 years. Loving wife of the late James "Short". Loving mom of Brian Bernard, Corey (Danielle) Bernard, Jim (Jennifer), Bob (Lynn-Marie), and Jennifer (Kent). Proud grandma of Kayla, Nick, Alex, Hanna, Ethan, Kynlee, Ellyana, and Leo and great-grandma of Abby. Further survived by her loving companion, Dean Ziemer, other relatives and friends.
Visitation for Susie will be held on Monday February 14 at the Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home in Sussex from 1 PM until the time of the Memorial Service at 4 PM. Memorials to The Kathy Hospice are appreciated.
At 12:45 AM heaven gained the most beautiful angel. We will miss your smile that lit up every room, your contagious laugh and most importantly your one of a kind loving personality. We take comfort in knowing she is no longer in pain and is finally reunited with her mom and dad, her brothers and the love of her life, Short. Susie's celebration of life will be on Monday February 14th. We will love and miss you forever! Composed by her granddaughters, Kayla and Hanna.
