Richard Merske Obituary

Richard Merske born March 14, 1932 at Columbia Hospital in Milwaukee. Died on April 15, 2022 at his residence in Sussex. Richard was raised in Whitefish Bay. He went on to graduate one of the top of his class at Northwestern University. Richard was one of the top lead agents at Northwestern Mutual Life before retiring 50 years later. A prominent resident of Sussex owning a polo field for 15 years that was eventually turned into a subdivision, having a street named after him (Merske Ct.). His love and passion were horses, playing polo and traveling. Survived by dear friend of 60 years Norma Sletteland, Barbara Blattner, Pamela Simmons, Veronica Johnson and Ronelle Stratton.cxv.
