Matthew J. Nettesheim Obituary

Of Sussex. Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on October 6, 2024 at the age of 85. Matt was a loving husband to Carole for 60 years. He deeply cherished his children. He was the beloved Dad to Jeff (Stephanie), Keith (Danielle), John (Michelle), Teri Emmer, and Joe (Kelly). Matt was the proud Papa of Jenny (Kasey), Ashley, Amanda (Rick), Brett (Josie), Kayla (Dylan), Emily, Abbey, Ashton, Reese, and Kendall and great-grandfather to Bryce, Brent, Braxton, Kaden, Carl, Wyatt, and Cirilla. He was a special uncle to Kevin (Kathy) and Mindy (Pat) and a great friend to Erv and Shelly.

He is also survived by his loving sisters Fran (George), Bonnie (Larry), his brothers Frank (Margo), Doug (Clara), and his loving dog Tippy. He is further survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Matt was preceded in death by his parents Herbert and Marie Nettesheim and his father and mother –in-law Gilbert and Elizabeth Buechs, his sister Rose, and brother George (Shirley).

Visitation will take place at St. James Catholic Church, W220N6588 Townline Rd. Menomonee Falls, on Friday, October 11 from 9:00AM until time of Mass of Christian Burial at NOON. Private burial to follow at St. James Rosehill Cemetery.
