She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Merz and Ottilie Merz (Boeder); and her siblings, Marecela Merz and Roland Merz. She is survived by: her husband Bill Schaefer; her sons, Steve (Nancy) and Ron Schaefer (Jill); and her grandchildren, Courtney Schaefer, CJ Schaefer (Rachel) and Cody Schaefer. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
