Keryl J Moody Obituary
Found peace on March 24, 2025, at the age of 89.
Keryl was born to Milo and Helen (nee Schmidt) Hardiman on April 4, 1935. She married her high school sweetheart, Glen Moody, on April 16, 1955. Together they raised their three children, Laurie, Lisa, and Glen.
Early in her life, Keryl worked as a beautician. She then continued her career as a physical therapist for Elmbrook Hospital. She also served school lunches for Hamilton High School. She later worked for Sentry and Piggly Wiggly in Sussex.
She held many jobs throughout her life, but her best job was teaching Sunday School at Sussex United Methodist for more than 50 years with her good friend Joyce Outcelt.
Loving mother of Laurie (Ron) Schlafer, Lisa Eisenberg, and Glen (Amber) Moody Jr. Proud grandmother of Megan (Alec) Schuppel, Jessica (Jake) Brunet, Helene Eisenberg, Drew (Liz) Eisenberg, Karlyn Eisenberg, Ehrin (Lauren) Eisenberg, Dylan Schlafer, Hunter Moody, and Blake Moody. Great-grandmother of Kieran, Charley, Kash, Sunny, Tatum, and Ivory.
Preceded in death by her husband Glen Moody; her parents Milo and Helen Hardiman, her parents-in-law Milton and Dorothy Moody; her infant sister; her sister-in-law Sally Appel; and her infant grandson Devon Schlafer.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 28, 2025, at Schmidt & Bartelt in Sussex from 11am until time of Funeral Service at 1:30pm. She will be laid to rest following the service at St. James Rosehill Cemetery in Sussex. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Sussex United Methodist are appreciated.
