John H. Tews Obituary

Of Sussex. Passed away peacefully with his family by his side on October 10, 2024 at the age of 81 years old. Survived by his beloved wife of 60 years Nancy (nee Parsons) and three sons: Christopher (Jennifer), John and Mark Tews; his grandchildren: Braeden, Mackenzie, Mitchell, Brett, Morgan, Ethan and Jacob; his sister, Cheryl (Vincent "Bud") Schmit, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

John was a Project Manager at Wisconsin Electric for 35 years. He was a Master Model Railroader and Trainfest Executive Director in Milwaukee for 20 plus years. He served 12 years as President of the Village of Sussex, 12 years as Treasurer at Christ Our Savior, past President of Friends of East Troy Railroad Museum and a Master Freemason.

Private family services were held.
