Jerry A. Christenson Obituary

Passed away on Friday, January 17, 2025 at the age of 72. Loving father of Brent Christenson. Cherished grandfather of Ciara Ann Christenson. Beloved brother of John (Jackie) Christenson, Orin Jr. (Peggy) Christenson, Vivian (Gary) Christiansen and Jack (Teri) Christenson. Dear uncle of Jason Christenson, Stacie Estrada, Candy Fiala, Kelly Meyer, Carl Christiansen, Sean Christiansen, Jennifer Christenson-Allen, Chad Christenson, Teresa Schad, Tyronne Schad and Ervin Schad. Further survived by many great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents Orin Sr. and Jeanne Christenson, sister Christine Schad and nephew Gerald Schad.

Jerry grew up in Sussex, WI. He was a proud Marine Corps Veteran that served from 1971-1975. He worked at Briggs & Stratton for many years. Jerry bought a home in Delafield, WI. He loved being in nature. He had many great times with family in the Lake Arrowhead Area.

Visitation will be on Friday, January 24, 2025 from 11AM until time of Funeral Service at 1PM at Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home – Sussex; W250 N6505 Hwy 164. Jerry will be laid to rest with Military Honors at Sunnyside Cemetery in Lannon, WI. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Delafield American Legion Post #196 are greatly appreciated.
