Janice Ann Wollin Obituary
Janice "Jan" Wollin, age 84, a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, was born to eternal life on December 2, 2023. Janice is survived by her loving husband, Lyle; her children, son James, daughter Gail (Michael) Ziegler, daughter Cheryl (Robert) Piper, grandchildren Amanda (Louis) Venti, Daniel (Kynsea) Ziegler, Steven Ziegler, Sarah (fiance Brandon Martyniak) Piper, Aaron Piper; great grandchildren Addilyn Venti, Elyse Venti, Crew Ziegler; sister-in-law Ruthann Kuehl; niece Lisa Tatman and nephew Jeffrey Kuehl.
Janice, the daughter of Elroy and Edith Kuehl (nee Deyak), was born in Milwaukee, on September 12, 1939. She was a stay-at-home mother for many years until her children became older. When she re-joined the work force in the late 70's she was employed at PDQ in Sussex. Later, she became the secretary of Peace Lutheran Church in Sussex. Janice retired in 2000.
Janice enjoyed spending time with her family at their cottage on Boulder Lake, baking, doing crossword puzzles and reading mystery novels. She was the biggest Brewer fan of all time and never missed watching a game.
Janice was preceded in death by her parents, brother Chuck Kuehl, and in-laws Norman and Mavis Wollin.
A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday December 7, at Peace Lutheran Church, W240 N6145 Maple Ave., Sussex, at 11 AM. Visitation will be at the church from 9:30 AM until the time of the service. Burial will follow at Wisconsin Memorial Park in Brookfield.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to Peace Lutheran Academy in Sussex would be appreciated.
