Harold M. Kampin Obituary

Formerly of Sussex. Called Home September 6, 2024 at the age of 98. Beloved husband of the late Viola for over 60 years. Loving father of Holly (Mark) Schneider. Proud grandpa of Amy (Matt), Marc and Paul. Great-grandpa of John, David (Ravyn), Joe, Mary Katherine, Nathan, Hannah, Andrew, Luke and Sarah and great-great-grandpa of Charolette. Further survived by other family and friends.

Preceded in death by his brothers and sisters Mildred, Thelma, Hazel, Lorraine, Charles, Earl and Otto.

Harold was born in Chille, WI. He worked for Ruby farms, picked potatoes with the nuns at St. Mary's in Elm Grove, picked cotton in Arizona for 3 years, worked at Vitamin Products, worked at Quality Block, having delivered for the block for Peace Lutheran when it was built, and was employed for the the Menomonee Falls Public School System for 40 years.

He went to Canada to fish with his brother-in-law Wally Struck every summer when possible.

Visitation will be held at Peace Lutheran Church, W240 N6145, W240N6145 Maple Ave, Sussex, WI 53089, Wednesday, September 18 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Private burial at Lisbon-Merton Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to Peace Lutheran Academy.
