Dennis J. Multerer Obituary
Of Sussex, surrounded by his loving family, found peace on Thursday, January 9, 2025, at the age of 63 years after a courageous battle with cancer. Dennis was born in Milwaukee on April 11, 1961, a son of Ronald and Barbara Multerer. A devoted employee he worked for the Department of Public Works in Menomonee Falls for over 28 years. Dennis married the love of his life, Sharon O'Donnell, on July 19, 1997. Dennis enjoyed fishing, playing Pickleball, being outside in nature and was an avid Packer fan. Dennis was the reliable friend and neighbor that could fix just about anything when asked for help. Dennis loved spending time with his family, especially his beloved grandchildren, and his devoted companion Pippa. His kind heart and gentle spirit will be forever cherished in the hearts of those who knew him.
Dennis is survived by his wife and soulmate, Sharon Multerer; children, Ryan (Jacque) Multerer and Jenna (Brian) Wallander; grandchildren, Owen and Everly: siblings, Chris Multerer (Laurie Kraemer), Cindy (Bert) McNeil, Tim (Tamara) Multerer; and father-in-law, Robert O'Donnell. Dennis is further survived by other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, and mother-in-law, Marilyn O'Donnell.
The visitation to celebrate Dennis will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2025, from 11AM until 1:30PM at the Schmidt and Bartelt Funeral Home, W250 N6505 HWY 164 in Sussex. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the St. Jude Children's Hospital are appreciated.
