Christine Buck Obituary
Christine "Chris" Ann Buck (nee Stelzl) was reunited with the love of her life when she passed away on Sunday, June 11th, 2023.
Chris was born to (the late) Joseph W. and Beverly J. Stelzl on May 4, 1955, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She was a 1973 graduate of Messmer High School. She then attended Cardinal Stritch University, studying art.
She met a willey, young man, Bruce Buck, and in him, she found her other half. Bruce and Chris got married on September 16, 1978 and were inseparable until Bruce's passing in November of 2005. During their beautiful marriage, they had a daughter, Sarah, in 1989 and built their home in Sussex, Wisconsin where Chris remained until 2020.
Chris moved to Hartland, Wisconsin in 2020 then to Cross Plains, Wisconsin in 2023 to be closer to Sarah, her son-in-law, Steve, and beautiful granddaughter, Jaylah Wren, born in 2022. Jaylah was Chris's treasure. She loved and looked forward to seeing and playing with Jaylah every chance she got. "Raspberries for my Sweet Girl".
Chris is survived by her daughter, Sarah, son-in-law, Steve Gordon, and granddaughter Jaylah. She is further survived by her mother Bev Stelzl, siblings, Mike (Sue) Stelzl, Patti (George) Mueller, and Tim Stelzl, niece and nephews Joe, Terri, and Jacob, and great niece, Elsie. She will be missed by the rest of her loving family and all her wonderful friends.
I love you, Mom. To the moon and back. A visitation will be held on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home, W250N6505 Hwy 164 Sussex, Wisconsin, from 10a-12p with a service by Father John Hemsing of St. James Catholic Church at 12p. Private burial to follow at a later time.
In lieu of flowers, Chris wishes a contribution to Jaylah's future adventures to be made.
