Brian S. Miller Obituary
Of Sussex, WI, started his eternal life on Sunday, December 8, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer, at the age of 62 years. Brian was born on September 6, 1962, a son of Donald and Carol Miller. He married Janine Setter on June 24, 1995. Brian was on the fast track of life as he graduated as the valedictorian at St. Joseph High School in Kenosha. Brian was a dedicated CPA and worked for the Bradley Corporation for nearly 20 years. Baseball was Brian's passion. Brian spent countless hours coaching Matt's baseball teams throughout his childhood, and they would spend nearly the whole summer traveling for ball while Matt was in high school. Matt still wonders how Dad was able to get all his work done! According to his children, Dad was the most selfless person. He wouldn't miss any of Zach's sporting events, and he even made sure to dip his toes into theatre and arts as Brie performed and showed off her artistic talents. An avid Packer and Brewer fan, he was coined "a true Wisconsinite" by all who knew him. Brian enjoyed the occasional round of golf, playing cards and board games (Clue being his favorite). His greatest joy was traveling and being on the open road taking a long road trip. A huge fan of country music, one of Brian's greatest memories was the trip last Thanksgiving, when he was able to travel to Texas to see his favorite artist, George Strait in concert. Brian was a tight knit family man. He immensely loved his wife, kids, siblings, and friends. With a can-do attitude, kind heart and gentle spirit Brian was always ready to lend a helping hand. His sense of humor and memory will live on in those who knew him.
Brian is deeply missed by his wife, Jan; children, Zach Miller, Matt Miller, and Brianna Miller; sister, Dawn (Sean) Dolan; brother, Keith (Kim) Miller; and many other family members and friends. Brian is preceded in death by his parents.
