Brian Millerschoen Obituary
Brian, 71, passed away quietly at his home in Sussex, WI on January 11, 2024.
Brian was born to Clarence and Loretta (Johnson) Millerschoen on October 5, 1952 in Freeport, IL.
He was the loving husband of Ramona (Murray) for 52 years, married on February 26, 1972 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Sterling, IL.
Brian had a long career with Chicago Northwestern/Union Pacific Railroads, retiring as Manager of Signals in 2012.
Brian and Ramona raised their girls in Sterling, IL before transferring to Wisconsin in 1994. They enjoyed extensive traveling to numerous countries throughout the world with many adventures along their journeys.
Brian was a cherished husband, beloved father, and treasured grandfather who meant the world to his family.
Survivors include: his wife, Ramona, daughters, Monika (Jeff) Heinzelman, Brianna (John) Maas, grandchildren, Jacob Heinzelman and Morgan Heinzelman. Brother, Allan (Paula) Millerschoen, brothers- in- law, Bill (Patti) Murray, Don (Vickie) Goshert and sisters- in- law, Rhonda Murray and Kathy Murray. Further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Preceded in death by his parents, mother- in-law, Marjorie Goshert, fathers-in-law, Jesse Murray and Donald Goshert, and his brother-in-law, Frank Murray.
Two memorial services will be held.
Thursday, January 18th at McDonald Funeral Home in Rock Falls, IL (1002 12th Ave, Rock Falls, IL) from 10am to 2pm, with a prayer service at 1:30.
Sunday, January 21st at Schmidt & Bartelt in Sussex, WI (W250N6065 Hwy 164, Sussex, WI) from 11am-1pm, with a prayer service at 1pm.
Memorials will be made to Sussex Outreach Services.
