He is survived by: his spouses, Russ and Arvilla; his children, Howard Christensen (Karen), Jeff Christensen (Nancy) and Toni Zastrow (Kurt); and his grandchildren, Heidi Brickner (Adam), Mike Christensen (Jinhee) and Jonathan Christensen.
