She was predeceased by: her parents, Raphael Thomson and Clarice Thomson (Cretton); her parents-in-law, Sidney and Adeline Sylvester; and her siblings-in-law, Sally Thomson, Alice Spencer, Betty Sylvester, Joe Westberg, Ervin Riegert, Tom Spencer and Andy Kurey.

She is survived by: her husband John Sylvester; her children, Jim Sylvester, Joe Sylvester, Julie Lewis (Mark) and Jenny Tousey (Chris); her grandchildren, Justin Sylvester, Jamie Beckingham (Todd), Josh Sylvester, Brianna Sylvester, Sidney Sylvester, Kayla Lewis, Brock Lewis, Weston Tousey, Hannah Tousey and Nathan Tousey; her great grandchildren, Brileigh and Brody Beckingham; her siblings, Bob Thomson, Sue Alden (Mark), Linda Maccaux (Leon), Ray Thomson (Joan), Mary Westberg, Bill Thomson (Kelly) and Laurie Conrad (Bob); and her sisters-in-law, Lorraine Riegert and Pat Kurey. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
