It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of George S. Nelson Jr. (Suring, Wisconsin), who passed away on July 17, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though George may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those George touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Sr. Nelson and Kathleen Nelson (Kispert); his wife Shirley Hurt; his sisters, Geraldine Voss and Joan Mayers; and his brother-in-law Charles Gunderson.
He is survived by: his siblings-in-law, Frances Jean Hurt, Sharyn Gunderson and William Hurt (Patricia). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
