He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Randerson and Martha Randerson (Stiljes); and his close friends, Walter Remic and Gary Wallenkamp. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Lewins; his daughters, Cindy Steffeck (Mark), Vickie Gardebrecht (Del) and Deb "Otter" Randerson; his grandson Matthew Gardebrecht (Darian); his great grandchildren, Emalee, Aubry, Remington, Cainen and Taelynn; and his sister Alice May. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
