He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Heitsch and Leona Heitsch (Mason); and his brother Charles "Chuck" Heitsch. He is survived by: his son Roger William; his sisters, Carrie Jane, Grace and Irene Angela Heitsch; and his nieces and nephews, Jim Miller, Russ Goss, Carrie, Caleb, Aria Durward and Yasmin Filali Adib.
