He is survived by: his wife Anne Hoff; his sons, Richard Melcher (Crystal Glanville) of Superior and John Melcher (Stacy) of South Range; his grandchildren, Devin, Maegan Melcher and Micah Melcher; his stepgranddaughter Stephanie Peacock; and his sister Barbara White of Iron River. He is also survived by 2 great grandchildren.
