The passing of Richard B. Nystrom of Superior, Wisconsin, born in Ashland, Wisconsin leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on October 28, 2024 at the age of 80. He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Nystrom and Vernette Nystrom; his son Bryan; his brother-in-law William "Bill" Manion; and his son-in-law David Defries.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Ann Woods; his children, Stacy Nystrom (Pat Jungers), Leslie Defries (Paul Berg) and Kristy Jelen (Mike); his grandchildren, Sam, Nate, Matthew, Anna, Gabe and Drew; his sister Barbara Manion; and also Darrell. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Downs Life Celebration Center (1902 N 34th St, Superior, WI 54880). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
