He was predeceased by: his parents, Levi Nelson and Madeline Nelson (Nollet); his brother Henry "Tiger" Nelson; his brother-in-law Calvin Worlow; and his nephew Robert Amoth.
He is survived by: his sister-in-law Donna Nelson of Poplar, WI; his nieces and nephews, Wanda Amoth, Brian Nelson (Jill), Wendy Renman (Paul), Brad Nelson (Terri), Carolyn Tyson (Don), Sandy Hazen (Steve) and Bridgett Tahtinen (Sam); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Micah, Danielle, Heather, Leslie and Cathy.
