He was predeceased by: his parents, Gustav Holmstrom and Ruth Holmstrom (Lewis); his stepfather Leroy Abrahamson; and his siblings, Wayne, Daryl Holmstrom and Rita Lilienthal.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Zimmerman; his sons, Shane of Lockport, IL, Jamie (Kim) of St. Cloud, MN, Joe (Amy) of Solon Springs, Adam of Superior and John (Tiffany Peterson) of Superior; his grandchildren, Brayden, Logan, Jacob, Anna Hiber (Jake), Claire, Will and Halle; his sister Lee Ann McConkey (Donnie) of Danbury; and his close friend Leroy Johnson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
