Marvel LaPorte Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 11, 2025, at the age of 68, Marvel LaPorte of Superior, Wisconsin passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Marvel may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Marvel touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Miles Cockerham and Joan Cockerham (Burgess). She is survived by: her husband Roger LaPorte; her children, Mariah Anderson and Josiah Anderson; and her brother Gary Cockerham (Melanie).
