Marshall Bernard Thornton Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marshall Bernard Thornton (Superior, Wisconsin), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 23, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marshall Sr. (Bernice Thornton) and Marsh; and his grandson Marshall Vadnais. He is survived by: his wife Mary Kay; his daughters, Malia Vadnais and Julie Tomáška (Milan); his grandchildren, Eric, Brenna Vadnais, Milan and Elias Tomáška; and his sisters, Rosemary Thornton, Jeanie Malley, Margaret Benz and Bernice Moreen. He is also survived by his family, friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cathedral of Christ the King (1410 Baxter Ave, Superior, WI 54880). A Mass will be held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Amie Muller Research Fund at Burn Pits 360 and the Society of St. Vincent de Paul Superior in his honor.
