He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Doeden (Hank) and Eda Doeden (Garlipp); his siblings, Gene, Lloyd and Aileen Eaton; and his children, Diane Reed (Hillman) and Rick Hillman.
He is survived by: his wife Guin J. Hansen; his daughter Sheri Johnson (Mick); his daughter-in-law Rhonda Hillman (Blair); his siblings, Gilbert Doeden (Carol) and Karlene Steere; and his sister-in-law Marlene Hansen. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
