We are sad to announce that on March 11, 2025, at the age of 97, Laraine K. Matushak of Superior, Wisconsin passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Emil Vucovich and Jennie Vucovich (Sertich); her former husband James Sauter; her husband Raymond Matushak; her daughter Mary Kay Sauter; her stepsons, Steve and Brad Matushak; her siblings, George Vukovich (Charlotte), Dan Vucovich, Mary Paquette (Fran) and Annie Vucovich; her brother-in-law Ted Matushak (Judy); and her nephew Francis "Packy" Paquette.
She is survived by: her sons, Timothy Sauter (Nan), Jeff Sauter (Donna) and Mark Sauter (Tina); her grandchildren, Ryan Sauter (Sara), Neil Sauter (Shannon), Adam Sauter (Amber), Logan Sauter (Courtney), Casey Sauter, Drew Sauter (Blair), Alysia Christy (Mike), Aleah Sauter, Jay Matushak (Erin) and Chad Matushak (Kristi); her sister-in-law Jean Vucovich; and her daughters-in-law, Kathie Matushak and Barb Matushak. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren.
