We are sad to announce that on January 15, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Kim Marie Popoe of Superior, Wisconsin, born in Duluth, Minnesota. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mark Foster and Lorraine Akervik; her stepfather Charles Akervik; and her siblings, Mitchell Mackey and Debbie Halstead.
She is survived by: her husband Steve; her children, Maria Foster and Joshua Popoe; her siblings, Valerie Baudhuin (Michael), Jay, Scott, Kevin and Tobin Akervik; her grandchildren, Danika Foster, Naheisha, Magic Walker, Ahnyah and Baneen Grey; and her great grandchild Trevontae.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Borders Sports Bar (3026 E State St, Oliver, WI 54880).
