He was predeceased by: his father Rodney Pfeffer; his stepfather Terry Kishel; and his grandparents, Richard Closson, Gladys Neuman, William and Carol Pfeffer.
He is survived by: his mother Kelly Kishel (Closson); his sons, Matthew and Liam Closson; his sister Alicia Closson (Mike Haugdahl); his aunt Karen Thielman; his stepmother Wendy Pfeffer; and his uncles, Rick Closson and Steve Closson.
