He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his son Thomas Michels (Alicia) of Superior; his grandchildren, Ashton, Gracie and Garrett; his siblings, William Michels (Ruth) of Eau Claire, Edward Michels (Jeanne) of Eau Claire, Susan Manor of Eau Claire and Mary Heintz (Mark) of Bruce, WI; and his pet Barrett. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
