It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joanne Eileen Blatt in Superior, Wisconsin, who passed away on February 27, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Jensen and Mary Ann Jensen; her husband Leo Thomas Blatt; her granddaughter Madison; and her stepson Jeff.
She is survived by: her children, Todd Blatt (Vicky), Tammi Gimpel (Cary) and Troy Blatt (Kacey); her grandchildren, Mandi (Lee), Matt (Mara), Thomas, Dan, Chase, Colton and Ella; her great grandchild Leo; her siblings, Jan Herrick (Bob) and Bill Jensen (Marilyn); her sister-in-law Linda Jarzynski (Jim); her nephews, Robbie, Erik, Andy and Nick; and her niece Jessie. She is also survived by her family—she loved her children, grandchildren, and great grandson.
Joanne "Jo" Eileen Blatt, 79, died on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, in Superior after a long battle with Parkinson's disease and most recently bone cancer.
