With profound sadness, we say goodbye to James R. Liebaert of Superior, Wisconsin, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Liebaert and Leone Liebaert (Wies); his brother Rick Liebaert; his nephew Chad Liebaert; and his granddaughter Addison Liebaert.
He is survived by: his children, Kate Stariha (Chris Sanders) of Superior and Craig Liebaert (Jennifer) of Rosemount, MN; his grandchildren, Makenzie, Madysen Stariha, Carson, Colby, Rigley and Ainsley Liebaert; and his siblings, Paulette Gondek, Ron Liebaert, Steve Liebaert (Judy), Roger Liebaert (Patty), Raeann Trombly (Gary) and Stacy Liebaert. He is also survived by nieces, nephew.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Lenroot-Maetzold Funeral Home (1209 E 5th St, Superior, WI 54880). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Belgian Club (3931 E 2nd St, Superior, WI 54880).
In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations that will be used to support SAHA and SYO.
