He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Vik; his children, Carey Vik (Jennifer) of Poplar, WI and Janelle Basley of Duluth, MN; his sister Hilda McCracken of Bismark, ND; and his grandchildren, Josiah Vik (Tori) of Chicago, IL, Laryssa Vik of Omaha, NE and Cora Gaskell. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
