He was predeceased by: his parents, Ingvar J. Vik and Jenny L. Vik (Larsen); his stepmother Thelma Vik; and his siblings, Clara, Ingvar, Tordis, Linda and Ella.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Vik; his children, Carey Vik (Jennifer) of Poplar, WI and Janelle Basley of Duluth, MN; his sister Hilda McCracken of Bismark, ND; and his grandchildren, Josiah Vik (Tori) of Chicago, IL, Laryssa Vik of Omaha, NE and Cora Gaskell. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mission Covenant Church (5161 County Rd P, Poplar, WI 54864). A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
