He was predeceased by: his parents, Bertil Almsted and Emily Almsted (Hegbloom). He is survived by: his sisters, Sharon Johnson and Paulette Almsted of Burnsville, MN; his nephews, Rick Hurin and Robert Hurin of Brooklyn Park, MN; his niece Sharrilyn Helgertz; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Willa, Winter, Violet, Jameson and Lydia.
