He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Sr. Tomczak and Florence Tomczak (Ignasiak); his wife Barb; and his siblings, Clarence, Leonard Tomczak, Loretta LeCain, Florence Bozinski and Carla Neilson.
He is survived by: his children, Douglas Tomczak (Alison King) of Chicago, IL, Daniel Tomczak (Deborah) of Cary, NC, Joseph Tomczak (Heather) of Eveleth, MN and Renee Evans (Art) of Swansboro, NC; his grandchildren, Nathaniel, John, Olivia, Noah, Joshua and Greyson; and his sister Suzie Bounting (Milt). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
