She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Ziegler and Ramona McConnell Ziegler; her husband James Stariha; her siblings, Dolores Hovdestad (Ziegler) and Charles Ziegler; and her great grandchild Seth Stariha.
She is survived by: her children, Dotty Duffy (Mark), Kathleen Payne (Michael), James M. Stariha (Rita), David Stariha, Getta Gucinski (Bucky) and Michelle Larsen (Jack); and her siblings, Ramona Moen, Andrea Johnson (Dave) and Larry Dahlgren. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
