With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carol M. Wartman of Superior, Wisconsin, who passed away on February 7, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edna Erickson (Berg) and Conrad Erickson; her brother Curtis; her son Robert; and her siblings-in-law, Elizabeth Erickson, Polly Wartman, Mary Jo Wartman and Richard Wartman.
She is survived by: her son David; her husband David Wartman of Ashland, WI; her children, Michael of Ashland, Timothy (Brenda) of Shaumburg, IL, John (Sheryl) of Franklin and Connie Nelson (Jeff) of Rockford, IL; her grandchildren, David, Sara, Charlene, Kayla, Brooke, Brett, Kristyn, Katy, Joseph and Katherine (Torin); her great grandchildren, Juniper and Grace; her nieces and nephews, Mary Erickson, Mary Kay Thoma, Ann Jacobson, Beth Enck, Katy Wartman, Sue Greenberg, Ann Forrer, Beth Hagstrom, Mary Carvelhi, Jane Freeman, Paul Wartman, Richard Wartman, Robert Stewart and David Stewart; her cousin Bob Berg; her siblings-in-law, Lew Wartman and Marie Stewart (Richard); and also Richard Wartman.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Our Lady of the Lake Catholic School.
