With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Carol J. Gehrke of Superior, Wisconsin, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Turnquist and Eleanor Turnquist; her stepfather Jerome LaBonte; her brother Paul Turnquist; and her pet Snowball.
She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey Gehrke of Owatonna, MN, Robert Gehrke (Linda Parker) of Solon Springs, WI, Richard Gehrke of Mahtowa, MN and Stephanie Gehrke (Cameron Pelkey) of Mora, MN; her granddaughters, Desiree Schwichtenberg (Clinton) of Janesville, MN and Rose Gehrke (Kyle Jeno) of Owatonna, MN; her great grandchildren, Savannah, Lillianna and Grace Ann of Janesville, MN; and her sisters, Patricia Mattson (Carey), Brenda Medd (Timothy) of Oakdale, MN and Sharon Foix (Steven) of Calumet, MI. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Donations can be made in Carol's honor to either the American Cancer Society or to her favorite charity, Second Harvest Northland.
