He was predeceased by: his parents, Merrill Thompson and Maxine Thompson (Johnson). He is survived by: his wife Robin Nyberg; his sons, Eric Thompson (Renee) of Germantown, WI and Alex Thompson (Chelsea) of South Range, WI; his grandchildren, Bennett and Sawyer; and his brothers, Mark Thompson of Superior and Dr. Kim Thompson (Sandy) of Lake Nebagamon. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
