She was predeceased by: her parents, Gladys Miller (Ollanketo) and Earl Miller; her brothers, Robert Miller (Bob) and Charles; and her brother-in-law Tom Wolford.
She is survived by: her children, John Palokangas (Denise), Chuck Palokangas (Brenda), Tom Palokangas (Karina) and Laura Palokangas Aherns; her grandchildren, Julia Palokangas (Daniel Sarkiaho), Camille Beauduy (Derek), Dana Cook (Eli), Libby Hintsala (Brandt), Claire Isaacs (Brent), Ty Palokangas, Mac Palokangas, Will Palokangas (Danika), Jacob Aherns (Rebecca), Jordan Aherns (Becca) and Jessie Aherns; her sisters, Rose Wolford (CA), Nancy Livingood (IA) and Shirley Anderson (MN); her sister-in-law Sue Miller (WI); and the father of her children James Palokangas (Jim).
