With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Warren R. Birkrem of Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, born in Stoughton, Wisconsin, who passed away on March 22, 2022 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his former wife Constance Birkrem; his sister Barbara Fassbender; and his brother-in-law Daniel Schulz. He is survived by: his children, Rob, Mike (Tiffany), Laura Mondeik (Justin) and Christian (Alix); his stepchildren, Chris Schneider (Stephanie), Matt Schneider and Erin Hamway (Sam); his grandchildren, Grace Schneider, Isaiah, Anja Birkrem, Penny Mondeik and Natalia Hamway; his siblings, Janis Schumaker (DuWayne), Beverly Schultz, Sharon Holzapfel (Ron), David Birkrem (Valerie), Douglas Birkrem, Carrie Ann Besch (Mark), Gail Duckert (Gary) and Todd Birkrem (Lisa); his brothers-in-law, Lee Fassbender and Dave Anderson (Chris); his aunt Rachel Frey; and his friend David Ward. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, friends.
