With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wallace Richard Moellenberndt (Sun Prairie, Wisconsin), born in Bensenville, Illinois, who passed away on October 7, 2020 at the age of 99. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Moellenberndt and Mary Moellenberndt (Fenske); his wife Mercedes Berlage; and his brothers, Ervin and Howard.
He is survived by: his children, Monsignor Duane Moellenberndt (Martha) of Madison Jim and Mary Lange of Knoxville, TN; his grandchildren, Dr. Alison Arrants (Chris) of Rock Springs, WY, Meg Trout (Robert) of Grand Island, NE and Jennifer Lange of Knoxville, TN; and his great grandchildren, Josie, James and Luca. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Sunday October 11, at Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary Catholic Church, 227 Columbus St. in Sun Prairie from 2:00 p. m. until 4:00 p. m. Please follow Covid Rules.
