He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Freitag and Ella Freitag (Rolf); his stepson Jay; and his siblings, Jack, Dale and Dorothy Martin.
He is survived by: his wife Alice Hass; his stepsons, Scott (Tammy) and Brad (Connie); his grandchildren, Colleen, Buck, Meghan, Luke, Randy, Kim and Jamie; and his stepgrandchildren, Tanya and Ben. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
